JENS DAHL HAS HAND
BADLY CUT IN SAW

--------

Jens Dahl, who is employed at the
G. F. Manufacturing plant, met with
an accident this morning which will
disable him for many weeks. He was
operating a rip saw and in some way
his right hand came in contact with
the blade. The thumb was partly cut
off as was the first finger. An ugly
wound was made across the palm and
the little finger was badly lacerated.
Just how the accident happened can-
not be determined.

Mr. Dahl is a bricklayer, working
for the G. F. company in that capa-
city during the summer months and
in the plant here during the winter.
It is not thought that this unjury will
bother him much after it has healed,
but it is probable he will be unable
to work much this season.

Dr. Jacobsen and Dr. Childs of Au-
dubon dressed the injuries and with
proper attention it is hoped the
wounds will not cause trouble. Mr.
Dahl is resting easily considering
the severe nature of the injury.
