I don't research the Blakesley name but have some books that contain some information on the Blakesleys that might/might not be of some help to you.

In a biographical sketch for Henry Kersey it mentioned his son-Isaac J. born 1843 married Miss Nancy J. Blakesly-dau. of Joel B., a resident of Nebraska
