I am looking for a Silvenus/Sylvanus Brown born abt 1803 in TN according to the 1856 appanoose co,Iowa census. He was married to Mary A ( Burgis, possibly). As of the 1856 census he had been in Iowa for 3 yrs, having came from IN. By 1860 he disappears. His wife and children are listed in the 1860 census but not him. He must have died. His children were:
Eliza C who married Geo. Conger in 1856 Appanoose
Mary Ann, Joseph, Henderson,Richard, Sylvanus married Sarah Strickland of Mo, Elizabeth,Geo., James, Melinda. Any help on this family would be greatly apprecated. Thanks you for your time.
