Thank you Jeanie -Good to know where Thomas is buried. Puts an end to that chapter in the Pennington family.
Would it be possible for you to send me the list of other Pennington's listed in the row of the cemetery that Thomas is buried in? I know his father was also Thomas, in 1850 a blacksmith in Knox County, IL and listed age 54 born in PA. His wife Lydia, age in the 60's born SC. Thomas and Elizabeth and infant son (Delaney or Delausa) lived with his parents. In 1860 Thomas Jr and family moved to Iowa. No more information about Thomas Sr. and Lydia found. Could they also have moved to Iowa and are buried with Thomas Jr.?
