In the 1925 Iowa State census, found at ancestry.com, for Appanoose Co., Iowa, Pleasant Twp., Flora R. (Martin) Scott is listed with her husband, Frank P. Scott, and son Alva Fern Scott. In this census, Flora states that her father's name was Samuel Martin (deceased), and her mother is Lavina Harris (age 76).
