Herb,

Sara was born 10-28-0846 in Appanoose county, Iowa. Her parents were John Henry and Anna A (Barton) Bond. The elder bonds were from Ireland. John Henry may have been born 11-7-1798 and Anna born 12-7-1809. Their eldest dau was born in 1828 in Coleraine, Londonderry, N. Ireland. The next dau was born in Massachusetts and a son in Illinois before they moved to Appanoose County, IA around 1840/1841. Sara Louisa was the 6th clild of 8 born to John and Anna. Her gravestone shows death at age 77Y, 2m, 16d.
