Death of Robert Ross

Mr. Robert Ross died at his home 3 miles southeast of here Saturday, March 11, after being sick only a few days with pneumonia. He was 81 yrs. old. He leaves a wife and nephew, Robert Jennings, who has made his home with Mr. Ross since he was a small child. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday, March 14, conducted by Rev. L. Shaeffer, of Walnut City, after which the remains were taken to Albie to be placed in a receiving vault until a cement vault can be made on the Ross farm where the remains will be laid in their last resting place.

Note: burial is a Salem United Brethren Cemetery
