Moravia - Mrs. Robert (Jennie) Jennings, age 75, resident of Moravia, died at 1 a.m. Monday, April 13, 1970, at St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been a patient for the past five weeks.
She was born in Marion County, Iowa, June 12, 1894, the daughter of Henry and Allie Vos Sytsma.
On Oct. 27, 1911, she was married to Robert Jennings, and he survives as do two sons, Charles Jennings of Haverhill, Ia., and Harry Jennings, Centerville; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Lewis, Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sister, Mrs. Stella Argo, rural Moravia, Mrs. Marie Van Weelden of Albia; two brothers, Herman Systma of Fremont, and Andrew Systma of Harcourt, Ia.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Services are pending from Turner Funeral Home at Moravia.
The family has established a memorial for the Iconium Methodist Church.
