Mrs. Dora Hellyer Died This Morning

She passed away at the Probasco Nursing Home Near Moulton In Early Morn

Mrs. Dora Hellyer, 78, former resident of Iconium, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, 1945, at the Probasco Nursing Home, Moulton, where she had been for the past three weeks. She had been in poor health for a number of years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Hellyer, who died a number of years ago, and by her son Charle Eaton, who passed away in 1937 in Lafayette, Oregon.

Surviving are six children, Mrs. Allie Huey of South Dakota, Mrs. Ella Tarbell, Centerville, Frank Eaton, Springfield, South Dakota, Corporal Charles Hellyer who is stationed in a hospital in Lincoln, Nebr., and Mrs. Lennie Holman, Dayton, Ore. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was well known in Iconium, and had many friends and relatives in Centerville. She was affiliated with the Christian church.

The body now lies in state at the Miller Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
