Died

At Walnut City Monday Oct. 1st, Bertha, daughter of W. T. and Mary McNeff, aged two years.

Our darling little Bertha
Has left this world of woe,
And gone to be with Jesus,
Where joys forever flow.

And now we miss the prattle
Of the little one we love.
But she is making sweeter music
In the higher courts above.

Her little feet are taken
From all earth's tempting snares,
Her little heart is rescued
From earth's sorrows and its cares.

She will pluck the brightest flowers,
And bask in endless day.
And we shall greet our dear one
When the mists have cleared away.
