Flora, eldest child of H. G. Houge, at her home near Unionville, Iowa, June 9th, 1883.

Though for months a great sufferer, yet she bore it with remarkable patience, a calm and beautiful life, and a sweet and childlike death. She spoke often to her little sisters of Jesus, and many kind words of encouragement to her father. H.E.W.
