At the home of her father, Wm. Evans, in this city, Sunday, May 6th, at 4 o'clock p.m., Mrs. Margaret E., wife of J. C. Bevington, and daughter of William and M. J. Evans, aged 27 years, 3 months and 6 days.

Mrs. Bevington had been for several years a faithful and consistent member of the Baptist church, and died as she had lived, loved and honored by all who knew her. She will be missed in society, in the church, in the Sabbath school, and in the homecircle. Besides parents, sisters and brother, she leaves a husband and two children to mourn her loss. They have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. Funeral services were held in the Baptist church on Monday afternoon, and a long procession of friends and neighbors followed the remains to their resting place in Oakland Cemetery.
