A quarrel took place in the south part of town this morning, which resulted in the shooting of George Fennell, by James Corr, Fennell dying in a short time. The story, as told by Corr, is briefly this: Both men work in the Henderson mine at Relay, and yesterday a quarrel ensued between the two men regarding some empty cars, but which resulted in nothing more than words. This morning, as the two men started to work they met on the railroad track, where Fennell proposed to whip Corr, and put his hand in his pocket as if to draw a pistol, when Corr drew a revolver and fired. This is the story as told by Corr, who immediately came in and gave himself up.
