Died, at his residence in Numa, Iowa, July 31st, 1881, Dr. H.B. Stiles. Mr. Stiles was born in New Haven, Conn. In 1823, and removed with his father to New York state when a boy. He married and lived in New York until 1863 when he moved with his family to Putnam county Mo. For six years previous to his death he has lived at Numa, Iowa. He leaves the wife of his second marriage and also a son of his first marriage, who is doing business in St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Stiles was a man of decided convictions, active religious experience and of strict integrity in business. The community has lost a worthy citizen, society a guardian, the church a worthy member, and the wife a tender and devoted husband. The services was conducted at the house by Rev. Tibbets, of Agency City, Iowa.
