IRA BESSE

CINCINNATI-Ira Besse, 84, of Cincinnati died April 25, 1992 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Centerville. He was born Jan. 2, 1908, in rural Cincinnati to Henry and Daisy Ervin Besse. He married Elsie Marie Rose on Jan. 2, 1933 in Unionville, Mo. He was a coalminer, farmer and stock trader and attended Rock Valley Church of God. He is survived by his wife; a son, Richard of Davenport; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Glen of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Matty Walker and Maxine Robbins of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond. The service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, the Pastor Edgar Foster officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Church of God and may be left at the funeral home.
