Death of Philip Ely
Word was received here on Wednesday of the death of Philip ly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Cortney, at Buffalo Creek, Colorado, on Saturday night. We were unable to get the particulars except he died of diseases incidental to old age. Mr. Ely lived on a farm south of Moravia for probably forty years. Some years ago he sold his farm and bought property in Moravia. He has been in Colorado with his daughter for some time. He was getting well along in years probably between 75 and 80 years of age.
