Fred Calvert Is
Called By Death
At Hines Illinois

Word was received here this afternoon that Fred Calvert, said to have been an overseas veteran,
and member of the local American Legion post died at the government hospital at Hines, Illinois today.
Due to serious ill health Calvert was sent to the veteran's hospital, Excelsior Springs, later to Hines, Illinois. His wife resides here. Complete obituary and funeral announcement will be made later.

Donald Biggie, accompanied by Kenneth Johnson, is driving to Hines, ILL., a suburb of Chicago, where the government hospital for veterans is located. He will get the remains of Fred Calvert and return to the Miller funeral home.

Calvert Burial
Services Monday
Yesterday afternoon at 2:30 services were held for Fred Calvert at the Miller Funeral home. Many
attended the last rites for the man whom so many knew so well. Rev. Earl Wolfe, assisted by Rev. B. F. Walker of Princeton, officated the service. Among those who attended the last rites were: John Calvert, Miss Rose Calvert, Mrs. Maude Calvert, and Mrs. Norma Grimshawl all of Trenton. Mo., and Mrs. B. F. Walker and son Melvin, Mrs. Emma Smith, Mrs. Hattie Lewis all of Princeton. He was buried at Oakland cemetery.
