Passes Away
Mrs. Flo Ettie Doggett 86, lifelong resident of Appanoose county, died at her home on
Moulton rural route, Sunday, September 19, at 3:05 p.m. She had been in ill health for four years.
Born in Appanoose county, September 15, 1879, she was the daughter of W. T. and Sarah
Elizabeth Benge Houser. February 13, 1896, she married James Harley Doggett, in Centerville, who preceded her in death in April 1957. She was a 50-year member of the Mt Ararat Baptist church.
Besides her husband, Lenah Flo Replogle in 1920, her parents, five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Verda M. Stone, of Moulton rural route, and Mrs Mazile L. McFall also of rural route Moulton, two brothers, W. F. Houser of Centerville, and A. M. Houser of Long Beach, California.
The body is at the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home. Services will be held there Wednesday,
September 22, 1965, at 10:00 a.m.
Rev. John Durham, pastor of the Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Ararat cemetery east of Centerville.
