UNIONVILLE.
Unionville, Ia., April 28—Mary Jane Hedgecock Atkinson was born in Appanoose County, Ia., March 8, 1865. She grew to womanhood near
Salem, gave her heart to Jesus in childhood and united with the Methodist church.
She was married to Edward Atkinson November 18, 1890. To this union were born three children, Charles Edward, James Car?ton and Mary Eudora.
Sister Atkinson was a loving wife, a kind mother, a good neighbor and a very faithful christian and worker for Jesus.
She took sick very suddenly Sunday morning, April 19, and died April 23.
She leaves a husband, two children and a host of friends to mourn their loss. "Peace be to her precious memory".
The funeral services were held at Udell April 24, conducted by her pastor.
