Died This Morning
Mrs. Melissa Ashby, wife of George Ashby, who had been ill for three weeks with gall stones, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at her home
220 East Franklin street, corner of Fourteenth. Mrs. Ashby is survived by her husband and eight children, and many friends and relatives mourn her death.
The funeral services will be conducted at the late residence Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, and interment will be made at the Thomassen cemetery southwest of the city.
