MRS. C. M. MARSHALL DEAD
Mrs. Jennie Gale Marshall, wife of C. M. Marshall, proprietor of Marshall Grocery at 2805 South Bannock died April 10, at her home 2823 South Bannock as a direct result of heart trouble, brought on by an asthmatic condition which she had had for the past thirty years.
Mrs. Marshall was born at Moulton Iowa, December 26 1862. She had been married forty years, and had lived in Englewood for six years. One
of her children died in infancy, and the others, Mrs. W. A. Chamberlain and Mrs. Lucille Self Schlegel both well known here live in Denver. The
husband also survives as do two grandchildren, Charles William Chamberlain and Shirley Jean Self. A brotherinlaw, C. G. Marshall, of
Brownwood, Texas, and a cousin, Mrs. Effie Ferritor, of Moberly, Mo., came for the funeral.
Mrs. Marshall belonged to Rebekah and Eastern Star orders in Moulton, Ia., and also to the Methodist church there. She had made many dear
friends in Englewood, and she was a mother who kept especially close to her children; who have always lived near her. She leaves a place in the
community that will be difficult to fill, and the sympathy of everyone is extended to her family.
Funeral services were held last Friday at Olingers, Rev. Nowlan, of John Collins, M. E. church in charge. Inerment at Crown Hill.—Englewood Herald.
The Marshall family have many friends in Moulton who extend deepest sympathies to them in their bereavement.
