Mr. Wm. Bowen and Miss Mary Thornburgh of this county were married at the house of J. G. Thornburgh in Unionville, Missouri, on the
17th ult., as we see by the Republican. The paper, under the inspiration of occasion, gives utterance to the following rhymes :
"In wedlock's band,
Will gave his hand,
And Mary grasped it warmly;
The Parson then,
With pleasant words,
Bound them together strongly."
