Double Wedding

Elmer H. Stoner and Miss Nellie Crouch and R. L. Stoner and Miss Lottie Crouch, all of Jerome vicinity Lincoln township, drove in their car
to Centerville Thursday of last week, May 5, where they secured marriage licenses,
returning by way of Walnut City, stopping at the residence or Rev. L. Shaeffer they were united in marriage.
They were accompanied by Miss Ethel Stoner sister of the grooms.
The grooms are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Stoner. living on the old homestead, west of Jerome. The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs.
Alfred Crouch of Numa R 1.
These young people have a large and favorable acquaintance and have a host of friends who congratulate them and wish for them a long
and happy wedded life.

Reception for Newlyweds
On last Friday evening. May 6, the neighbors of Sam Stoner's gathered to welcome the newly weds. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stoner and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Stoner. After the serenading they were then invited in and treats of cigars and candy were served. A mock marriage ceremony was performed,
they then departed at a late hour wishing the brides and grooms much joy and happiness.
