Stabile - Davis
Mr. and Mrs. James Kerwin announce the marrigae of their son Perry E. Davis, M. M. 2-C, U. S. Navy, to Miss Louise Stabile, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Vito Stabile, of 216 West 55, Chicago, ILL.
The ceremony was performed Sunday, September 23, at 2:30 p. m. in the rectory of Saint Anns Church with Father Clennon officiating. Attendants were Mrs. Sue Trynda, sister of the bride, and Mr. John Flynn brother-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Davis was lovely in a street
length dress of black trimmed in fushia and grey. Her shoulder corsage was of white gardenias. Mrs. Trynda wore a street length dress
of aqua and fushia and a corsage of yellow tea roses. The bridegroom wore the uniform of his rank.
The bride's mother wore black and grey, with a corsage of salmon pink gladiolus, and Mrs. Kerwin's dress was of gold. Her corsage was also of salmon pink gladiolus.
Perry was a graduate of the Moulton High School with the class of 1938. Shortly after, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He has seen active service in the Pacific and Atlantic theatres, and at present is stationed in Chicago on Shore Patrol duty. His term of enlistment will be finished in December.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis will make their home temporarily in Chicago, where many friends extend congratulations.
Mrs. Kerwin attended the wedding of her son and returned to Moulton, Tuesday night.
