Leroy Swarts Married
On Sunday, February 20, 1938, Mr. Leroy Swarts was united in marriage to Miss Verna Ladd. The ceremony was performed in Mineral Wells,
Texas, at the Presbyterian parsonage, with the Dr. Keathly officiating, and in the presence of twenty-five relatives and friends. Miss Hazel Williams, of Galveston, Texas, served as maid of honor, and Everard Brown, also of Galveston, was best man. The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. G. L. Ladd, of Mineral Wells, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Swarts, who reside southwest of Moulton. Leroy attended the Moulton schools and graduated in the class of 1930. He is now employed in the office of U. S. Engineer at Vicksburg, Miss., and where the young couple will make their future home.
Mr. and Mrs. Swarts are now enjoying a two weeks visit at the parental Swarts home where their many friends extend congratulations.
