AIRPLANE REPAIRED - BUCK DANIELS FLIES AGAIN
{no picture attached}

Bob (Buck) Daniels is back in the air again. It will be remembered that the wings of his plane were badly damaged last year while it was housed in a hanger at Oskaloosa. The doors of the Oskaloosa hanger blew in and damaged the wings to a point where they had to be rebuilt.
Last week the repaired wings were installed at Moulton. Then came the job of moving the plane to the road east of Moulton where take-off had been arranged. The spread of the wings was such that some maneuvering was necessary as the
plane was moved down Elm street to the Howard garage in south Moulton. From there it was trundled to the road leading east of Moulton.
As can be seen by the above picture, Buck had all the help necessary to trundle the plane to a spot where he could take off safely. The other picture shows the plane just as it took off for Ottumwa where it will be inspected by Federal Aviation men before it will be released for private flying. Some residents along the route were a bit confused when confronted with an airplane on the street in front of their
home and came out asking if it had landed there or if there had been an accident.
