Wedding Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Fern Cassatt, of Moulton, Iowa, announce the marriage of their son, 3rd c. petty officer, James Edgar Cassatt, to Minnie
Halterman, of Ottumwa, on Thursday, January 21, 1943, at Lancaster, Mo. The single ring ceremony was performed in the Methodist church,
with the Rev. Tade officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Cassatt are popular young people of this community, and both attended the Moulton schools. Mr. Casatt graduated with the class of 1940. He is now serving with the United States Navy and is stationed at the Great Lakes Training Station. The bride is well known
in Moulton having lived here for a number of years. Their many friends extend congratulations.

Co-op Dinner At Peek Home

A co-operative dinner was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Peek, Sunday, in honor of their grandson, 3rd c. petty officer, Jim
Cassatt and bride.
Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Miller and family, Ellen, Max, Gould, and Daloris, of Williamsburg, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Orville
Rutliff, of New London, Iowa; Mrs. Russell Morrow, of Dean; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Leonard, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Peek and sons, Russell and Kermit, James Hays, and Mr. and Mrs. Fern Cassatt and children, Gertrude, Martha, Onley, Raymond and Jakie.
Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Cam Hays and son, Donnie, Bryon and Janet Gravitt, Calvin Edwards, Dwight Gravit, and Mr. Bogle. Evening callers were Mr, and Mrs. Jess Rutliff and Glen Davis.
