Gravett - Selix
Miss Lena Ann Gravett, daughter of the late George and Lena Gravett, and Francis M. Selix, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Selix, of Centerville
route, were married Friday evening, January 14th at 9 o'clock, at the parsonage of the First Baptist church in Centerville, Rev. Luther
W. Childs officiating using the single ring ceremony.
They were attended by Miss Leta Gravett, sister of the bride. The bride was attractively attired in a powder blue gown, with white
lace trim. She is a graduate of the Moulton high school, class of 1939, and since her graduation has been teaching school in the rural districts
of this county. At the present time she is teaching her second term at Orleans. The bridesmaid's dress was blue crepe and her home address is Moulton.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the Unionville, Iowa, high school, class of 1938. He is assisting his father operate a 500 acre farm 5 miles southeast of Centerville. At the completion of the school year, the young couple will make their home on the farm, continuing to assist in the operation of these many acres of land.
They have friends in both Moulton and Centerville who wish them much happiness and a successful married life.
