HOWARD-EBY.
A very pretty wedding occurred Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. C. Eby, when their daughter Bessie was united in marriage to Henry H. Howard. At eight thirty Mrs. Garrett sang in a pleasing manner Oh Promise Me. Then followed the Bridal March from Lohengrin played by Mrs. Myrtle Bartholomew and the bride entered the parlors on the arm of her father preceded by the maid of honor Miss Hankey. They were met by the groom and his best man Mr. Geo. Shutts and the officiating clergyman Rev. C. P. Leach. During soft music the impressive ceremony was pronounced and Mr. and Mrs. Howard were introduced to the guests. The bride was gowned in white organdy with trimmings of ribbon
and lace and carried bride roses; Miss Hankoy also wore white and carried pink roses. Miss Eby is a beautiful and accomplished girl and
Mr. Howard is an esteemed young business man and they have the best wishes of their many friends.
Refeshments consisting of ice cream, lemon ice and coffee were daintily served during the evening. There were many beautiful and expensive
gifts. Those present were
