Lansing, Iowa - Edna I. Aschom, 90 of Lee's Summit, Mo. and formerly of Lansing, Iowa, died Friday, July 21, 1989, in her home. She was born to John A. and Lena (Hirth) Decker on December 28, 1898, in Lansing.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church, Lansing. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing. Pastor Tom Mattson will officiated. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

Survivors include a son, Donald S. Aschom of Lansing, Mich.; two daughters, Ruth Lowell and Mary Plumer, both of Overland Park, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1972. The Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
