Edward Boese, 72, of Davenport, died April 5, 2005, at his home.

Services are 1 p.m. Friday at McGinnis-Chambers, Bettendorf. Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be private.

He was born June 5, 1932, in Waukon, Iowa, to Robert and Dorothy Boese. On Sept. 29, 1957, he married Jane E. Hesse in Postville, Iowa.

Surviving are his wife, daughters, Tonya Creasy, Lori McCallister, sons, Jeffrey Boese, Rick Boese, all of Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Kate Glick, Anamosa, Iowa; brothers, Donald Boese, Waukon, Frank Boese, Postville
