John Zeimet Is Called Tuesday

John Zeimet passed away Tuesday morning at his home at 9:45 after an illness from an incurable disease and complication which lasted one year. He was 69 years of age.

He was born November 12, 1865, at Lansing. He received his early education at the Gruber Ridge school. After farming for many years, he moved to Lansing where he had since made his home.

On September 26, 1893, at Lansing, he married Mary Helen Rice, who with five children survive. They are John of Dubuque, Leo of Ridgeway, Mrs. Clyde McClain of California who has been assisting in his care for several months, and George and Lawrence at home.

Besides these he leaves three sisters, Sister M. Solania of Superior, Wis., Mrs. George Rice of Dubuque and Mrs. Will Troendle of Excelsor, Minn., and one half-brother, Robert Hecker of Postville.

The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the Immaculate Conception church with the Reverend Herbert Krieger of Cherry Mound officiating. Interment will be made in Gethsemane cemetery.
