Mrs. Max Teff, 64, Dies on Sunday

The death of Mrs. Max Teff, 64, of Dorchester, occurred Sunday at a hospital at Rochester, where she received care the past week, due to a heart attack. Her death came as a shock to her family and many friends.
Ida Dorothy Muenkel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Muenkel, was born in Houston county, Minn., June 22, 1885, where she attained womanhood.
On August 10, 1910, her marriage to Max J. Teff occurred at Dubuque. Dorchester becoming the family home. To this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Edgar Wakefield, (Bernice), Fowlerville, Mich., Mrs. Henry Hanson (Aloris) Austin, Minn., and two sons, Raphael Teff, Albert Lea, Minn., and Max Teff, Austin, Minn. One child died in infancy. There are 15 grandchildren. Also living are two sisters, and two brothers, Dena, Alvina and Ole Muenkel, Caledonia, and Artie Muenkel, La Crescent, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at one o'clock at Martin's funeral home and 2:30 at the Evangelical church at Eitzen, Minn., conducted by Rev. Radoff. Burial will take place in the Evangelical cemetery with the following pall bearers. Burnell, Earl, Ambrose, Arnold, Westley Muenkel and Leonard Beardmore.

Funeral services for Mrs. Max Teff, 64, who died Sunday in a Rochester hospital, were to be held Thursday in the Eitzen, Minn., Evangelical church, the Rev. Henry Radoff officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery.

The former Ida Muenkel was born June 22, 1885, in Houston county, Minnesota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Muenkel. She married Max Teff Aug. 10, 1910 when Allamakee county became the family home.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Edgar Wakefield, Fowlerville, Mich., and Mrs. Henry Hanson; Austin, Minn; two sons, Raphael, Albert Lea, Minn. and Max, Jr., Austin, Minn; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Dena and Alvina, Caledonia, Minn.; and two brothers Ole, Caledonia and Artie, La Crescent
