DIED. J. Henssler, a highly esteemed citizen of Lansing, died at his residence on Christmas day, after a painful illness of several days, in the 38th year of his age.

His death is greatly deplored by this entire community, and his widow and children have the tearful and heart felt sympathy of all who knew them.

Joseph Henssler, 1838-1874 was originally buried in the now abandoned Catholic cemetery a few miles from Lansing. In 1897 his remains were removed to the Catholic Cemetery of La Crosse located in La Crosse, La Crosse Co., Wisconsin

"The remains of Jos. Hennsler, buried in the old Catholic cemetery twenty-three years ago, are being removed to La Crosse, to-day, where the family now resides."
