LANSING,Ia. Funeral services for Mrs. Moritz Gruber, 72, will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, the Rev. Conrad Schallau officiating, and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Gruber died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday evening. She had been about her work as usual during the day.

As Ella Henry, daughter of Charles and Eva Rotherman (Rothermel) Henry, she was born at Waukon, Jan. 29, 1880. In May, 1903, she married Moritz Gruber. They farmed on Gruber Ridge until they retired about 15 years ago and moved to Lansing.

Mrs. Gruber is survived by her husband; three sons and two daughters, Everett, Waco, Tex., Harris and Earl, Waukon, Mrs. Lawrence (Gladys) Bakewell, Lansing, and Mrs. Truman (Hazel) Aldrich, Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren and two brothers, John and Joe Henry of Waukon. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
