FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT ST. PATRICK'S CHURCH IN WAUKON THIS MORNING

Edward Duggan, 68, passed away Sunday afternoon at his home in Waukon. He had been in failing health for some time, but had been confined to his bed only the last two months.

Edward Duggan was born July 12, 1872, in Jefferson Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Duggan. Thirty-five years ago the family moved to Waukon to make their home, where he engaged in carpenter work. On October 26, 1909, he was married to Miss Emma Haas at St. Patrick's Church. Three children were born to this union, one of whom, Raymond, passed away in infancy. For the last five years and until his health failed Mr. Duggan was employed as janitor at the courthouse.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife and two daughters, Dorothy and Evelyn, both at home.

Four sisters and one brother also survive, Miss Margaret Duggan of Wheaton, Illinois, Misses Mayme and Nelle and Mrs. P.J. Sullivan and Dennis F. Duggan, all of Waukon.

Funeral servies were held this morning from St. Partick's Church. The Reverend E.J. McDonald sang the requiem mass and interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
