WILLIAM GARFIELD DUNDEE 1881-1959

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, 2:00 p.m., at the Schutte Funeral Home for William G. Dundee who passed away at Waukon hospital on Sunday of last week. The Rev. E. Wayne Hilmer, pastor of the Methodist church in Monona, was in charge of the rites. Burial was in Postville cemetery.

William G. Dundee passed away Sunday evening at the Waukon Veterans Memorial hospital at the age of 77 years and four months. He was a son of the late John and Hulda Dundee.

Mr. Dundee is survived by his widow; one daughter (Nora) Mrs. Chris Ronnfeldt of Waterville; three sons, Alfred of Waubeek, Albert and Harvey at home; a step-son, Harry Gobin; and nine grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Alberta, and eight brothers and sisters.

Submitter notes: William Garfield Dundee, son of John and Hulda (Hastings) Dundee, was born October 21, 1881 and died February 22, 1959. His wife was Henrietta "Etta" (French) Gobin Dundee and they were married December 12, 1912.
