Killed by lightening we regret to learn from Ludlow Township that a son of Mr. Conrad Helming, aged 11 years was struck by lightening last evening about 5 o'clock, resulting fatally.

The boy was out plowing corn and was just unhitching the team to go to the house on account of the approaching storm.
