HIRAM LAUGHRAN - died 1946

Hiram Laughran, 68, father of Mrs. Roger Sherman, passed away Sunday morning at five o'clock in the Sherman home east of Postville. He came here from Chicago 15 days ago for a visit to his daughter and son-in-law. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Schutte funeral home with the Rev. Eldon Seamans officiating, and interment was in Postville cemetery. Mr. Laughran was a native of Canada and was born in Montreal as the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Laughran.
