EARL RONALDO LIVINGOOD 1890-1962

Funeral services were held recently for Earl Livingood who passed away, November 24, 1962. Burial was in the Frankville Cemetery.

Earl Ronaldo Livingood was born August 25, 1890, and passed away after a long illness at the Decorah Hospital on November 24, 1962 at the age of 72. He was born the son of Edwin and Matilda Pechia Livingood in Post township, Allamakee County, Iowa.

He attended Myron School and since that time has farmed in Frankville and Glenwood townships. He was a part owner and storekeeper in Frankville for one year. He was united in marriage to Sophia Charlotte Hager of Ludlow township, on November 28, 1912. Four children were born to this union: Olga, Mrs. Lawrence Krambeer; Gertrude, Mrs. Earl Yarwood, both of Decorah and Dorothy, Mrs. Glenn Schave of Castalia, all of who survive, and a son Ronaldo Earl, who died in infancy.

Others preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Maud [Miller]; one brother, Cecil and five grandchildren. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, his three daughters, 4 sisters: Nellie, Mrs. Alfred Winters of Postville; Abigail, Mrs. Carl Winters; Stella, Mrs. Gerald Moose of Frankville and Caroline, Mrs. Elwood Lawson of Hokah, Minnesota. Three brothers: Willard of Postville, Lynn of Waukon and Charles of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many more relatives and a host of friends.
