Allen Kuhse

Services for Allen Frederick Kuhse, 46, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, were held Friday, July 15, 1988 at the Brinsfield Funeral Home in Leonardtown, Maryland. George Finsterle conducted the 2 p.m. services. Interment was in the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown with the Marine Corps Ceremonial Honor Guard conducting rites.

Allen Frederick Kuhse, son of Lorenz and Ivanelle (Becker) Kuhse was born June 9, 1942 in Postville, Iowa. He died at Prince George General Hospital on July 12, 1988 as a result of an auto accident.

He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. He graduated from Postville High School in 1959. He served in the United States Marine Corps from November 1961 until May 1965. While stationed in Washington, D. C. he served the Marine Corps Ceremonial Honor Guard.

He married Ann Curvin on May 29, 1965 at the Anacostia Methodist Church in S. E. Washington, D. C. They were the parents of two children.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughter, Susan and son, Gary of Mechanicsville, Maryland; Parents, Lorenz and Ivanelle Kuhse, Postville; sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Wall Embretson), Newhall, Iowa; brother, Cloy, Postville and grandmother, Mrs. Amanda Becker, Postville.
