Funeral services were held Monday, February 20, 1967 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville for Mrs. Henry Radloff, who passed away at Mesa, Arizona on February 15, 1967. Burial was in the Postville cemetery. The Rev. Lenwood Monte was in charge of the rites.
Mrs. Henry Radloff, daughter of John Hoth and his wife Elise Meier Hoth of Elkader, was born February 6, 1896, in Clayton county, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Center. She died at the Mesa Hospital, Mesa, Arizona, where she had been a patient since February 9.
She was married to Henry Radloff on February 25, 1914. To this union were born four children. They farmed in the Postville area until 1959 when they retired and moved to Clear Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her four children, Harley, Sr., of Luana and VerDean of Postville; two daughters, Lillian, Mrs. Milo Jacobia, and Donna Mae, Mrs. Milton Olson, also of Postville; one sister, Mrs. Tena Glawe; three brothers, Edwin, Elmer and Willis Hoth of Elkader, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, from 1915 until she moved to Clear Lake and united with the Zion Lutheran Church there.
