Memorial services for Luver C. Schultz will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Rev. Julius L. Peterson will officiate with the sermon given by the Rev. David H. Palm. A private committal service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1986 at 11:00 a.m. at the Postville Cemetery. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville is in charge of arrangements.
Luver C. Schultz, son of Charles and Anna (Thoma) Schultz, was born Feb. 19, 1891 in Clayton County, Iowa. He died Jan. 5, 1986 at the age of 94 years.
He was united in marriage to Clara A. Schroeder Dec. 4, 1920. They were parents of one daughter, Dorothy.
He was baptized June 23, 1891 and confirmed April 8, 1906, both at St. Paul Lutheran Church where he had been a lifelong member. Luver served during WW I in the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy, and her husband, John P. Trimble, Conroe, TX and the Trimble family, Gregory P. Trimble, Fort Worth, TX, Guy F. Trimble and his wife, Mary and their daughter, Sarah, San Marcos, TX.
