Rites Held For Irene Radloff

Services were held Monday, Feb. 14, 1983 at 1:30 p.m., St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona with Pastor Harold O. Ward officiating. Burial at a later date at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Luana, Iowa.

Irene Marie Radloff, the twin daughter of William L. and Mathilda "Tillie" Sebastian Meyer, was born Oct. 30, 1914 at Postville. She was baptized Dec. 12, 1914 and confirmed in August, 1928, both at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville.

She was graduated from the Postville High School in 1932. She was united in marriage to Elmer Radloff on Feb. 7, 1969 in the Chapel of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. She was a member of the ALCW and Grace Circle, helped publish the St. Paul News and was a faithful choir member for many years. She was also Secretary of the Clayton County Republicans. During her life she worked as secretary-bookkeeper for various businesses, including the Preston Carr Insurance Agency for 16 years and the Community Memorial Hospital, Postville for 10 years. She died Thursday, Feb. 10, 1983 at Venice Hospital, Venice, FL at the age of 68.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving is her husband Elmer, her son Gary Rounds, Palmdale, Calif., two stepsons, Loren Radloff of Monona, and Charles Radloff of Davenport, Iowa, 4 grandsons, 6 step grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Orville (Vella) Troester, and Mrs. Gordon (Eileen) Schultz both of Monona. Memorial services were held Friday, Feb. 11, 1983 at Arbor's Park Club House, Oaprey, Florida.
