Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 12, 1971, 2:00 p.m. at the Timeon Funeral Home, Perry, Iowa, for Florence Thomson who died Saturday, January 9, 1971 in the Dallas County Hospital, Perry, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Thomson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Senn, was born July 13, 1891 in Huston County, Minnesota. She was married to Irvin L. Thomson, September 12, 1916 at Winona, Minn. The couple resided in Postville from 1931 until 1944 when they moved to Perry.

Mrs. Thomson was a member of the Gleaners Class of the Methodist Church, the Milwaukee Women's Club, Ladies Auxiliary of the B. of R. T., Milwaukee Railroad Veterans and the WSCS.

She was preceded in death by a daughter LaVonne in 1960; her parents; two brothers, Edward and William and a sister Mrs. Kathryn Bisker.

Survivors include her husband Irvin L. Thomson of the Rowely Masonic Home, Perry; a son Robert L., Coggon; two daughters, Kathleen Taylor, Shadyside, Ohio; Marilyn E. Harris, Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother Arthur Senn, LaCrescent, Minn.; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Interment was at Violet Hill Cemetery, Perry.
