Funeral Services For William Zoll
A mass of requiem was said Saturday, April 24, at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hanover for Willian Zoll. The Rev. William O'Brien was the officiating priest and burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery, Hanover. Pallbearers were Pat O'Malley, Ben and Hank Schulte, Lou Gerkey, Charles Tierney and Michael Burke. The rosary was recited at Bakke and Hanson funeral Home Friday evening at 8 p.m.
Mr. Zoll died Wednesday April 21, following a lingering illness. He was born November 3, 1890, in Waukon and was a son of William and Bridget Collins Zoll. He was employed as a farmer until his retirement and was never married. Mr. Zoll was a former employee of Allamakee county.
Survivors are three brothers; Vic, Waukon; Emmet, Hanover and Francis of Cedar Rapids, and three sisters; Mrs. Larry Byrnes, Hanover; Mrs. Patsy Welsh, Waukon and Mrs. Joseph Cunningham, Lansford, N.D. Mr. Zoll was a member of St Mary's Church.

William Zoll passed away at the Hyberger Nursing Home, Cresco, on April 21, following a period of illness. Funeral services were held from Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church, Hanover on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery.

He was born on November 3, 1890 in French Creek township to William and Bridget Collins Zoll. He is survived by the following sisters, Mrs. Patrick Welch and Mrs. Larry Byrnes, Waukon, and Mrs. Joe Cunningham, Lansford, N.D; three brothers, Emmet and Vic Zoll, Waukon and Francis Zoll, Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Zoll was a former employee of Allamakee County.
