MRS. FRANK L. GUYER

Mrs. Frank L. Guyer, 71, Route 2, Waterloo, died at her home on Cedar Bend at 2:30 p. m. Monday of complications incident to advanced age.

Born Jane Ann Palmer in Clayton county, Iowa, on Nov. 7, 1874, she was the daughter of Ulysses and. Matilda, Palmer.

On Mar. 28, 1892, she married Frank L. Guyer at Prairie du Chien, Wis., and they lived subsequently at Postville, Maynard, Oelwein, Stanley, Bassett, and Charles City, la., before moving to Waterloo in 1910.

The couple celebrated their golden wedding in 1942.

She was a member of the Plymouth " Congregational church and of the Navy Mother's club.

A brother, a sister, and a half-sister proceeded her in. death, while she is survived by her husband; two sons, Harold, 728 West First street, and Lester, Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Amber Clark, at home, and Mrs. Marjorie Pixley, 1033 Kern street; five sisters, Mrs. A. E. Bing and Miss Mary Palmer, 108 Mulberry street, Mrs. Adda Quivey, Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Edith Robinson, Portland, Ore, and Mrs. Harriette Enyart, Mora, Minn.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Parrott & Wood funeral home and funeral services tentatively set for Friday at the Plymouth Congregational church.
