Lansing, Ia. – Special: Funeral services for Leonard Johnson, 70, were held Wednesday afternoon at the East Paint Creek Cemetery with the Rev. E. Baalson officiating. Burial was in the nearby cemetery.

Mr. Johnson died Sunday following a stroke

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Johnson and was born Aug. 18, 1872, in Allamakee County. He never married and made his home in this vicinity with his brother, Carl and his sister, Josephine, who survives with another brother, Otto, and a sister Mrs. Helen Colborson, both of whom live in the Dakotas.
