JOHN J. ARNOLD

Waukon, Iowa - Services for John J. Arnold, of Waukon, are to be Tuesday afternoon from the family home to the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. A. H. Grossheim, pastor, officiating. Burial was to be in Oakland Cemetery. Arnold died Friday at his home of a heart attach while preparing to drive to the farm.

He was born July 6, 1879 in Mitchell County the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Arnold. He came to Waukon with his parents when he was three years old. He retired several years ago as a stock buyer.

Survivors include his wife the former Elsie Thomson – Ashbacker: four daughters, Mrs. George Patschke, of Tempe, Ariz., Mrs. Harriett Cowan, of Long beach, Calif., Mrs. Lyle Schmaus, of Iola, Kans., and Mrs. Dorothy Hall of Chicago.; a sister Mrs. Ruth Peter and one great grandchild.
