Waukon, Ia., Nov. 24 - Waukon relatives heard with regret of the death of Mrs. M.C. Powers, who died at the Mound City hospital at St. Paul Saturday morning, where she had been a patient since Tuesday. The remains arrived here by hearse Saturday afternoon. No funeral arrangements have been made at this writing.

Deceased was the wife of Rev. M.C. Powers, minister of the Baptist church here, and had resided here just four years. Her maiden name was Miss Mildred Cole, being born in Hillsdale, Mich., where her father and other relatives reside. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Dorothy, of this city.

Waukon, Ia., Nov. 26 - Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at the Baptist church for Mrs. M.C. Powers, wife of Rev. M.C. Powers, pastor of the local Baptist church. The services were conducted by Rev. L.A. Miller of Independence, Ia., and Rev. A.W. Caul, field secretary of the Baptist Midway hospital, St. Paul. The pallbearers were John Carlson, Dr. J.C. Cameron, Edward Goodykoontz, Charles Colsch, Peter A. Anderson and Tony Ahlstrom. The remains were transferred to Hillsdale, Mich., where burial was made Wednesday afternoon.
